M&R Marketing, based in Macon, GA, is currently hiring for the full-time, in-house position of Web Developer. This position is available immediately. You will be joining a highly qualified team of Web Developers.
Experience
The ideal applicant should possess the following experience:
- HTML: 3-4 years’ experience
- CSS
- JavaScript and/or jQuery
- JSON and/or other API services
- PHP
- WordPress
- Adobe Creative Suite apps (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Visual Studio Code
The ideal applicant should possess the following skillsets:
- Knowledge of responsive design and mobile layout considerations
- Knowledge of cross browser compatibility issues and how to troubleshoot
Additional knowledge of the following will be valuable:
- Experience using GitHub
- Experience using a front-end JavaScript framework such as React or Vue
- Experience using CSS pre-processors such as SASS or LESS
- Experience using WordPress REST API or other REST API services
- Familiarity with ADA accessibility guidelines and compliance
Responsibilities
Web Developer responsibilities include:
- Successfully develop the front end of the website to fully match the design created and approved by the client
- Fully integrate all features into the build of the website, including features unique to the website and all standard features that each M&R website includes, such as plugins, SEO, responsiveness, and more
- Complete revisions to websites in a timely manner as requested by M&R team and by client
- Research development practices as required to complete complex website features
