M&R Marketing, based in Macon, GA, is currently hiring for the full-time, in-house position of Social Media Strategist. This position is available immediately. You will be joining a highly qualified team of 4 digital strategists, led by a Senior Digital Strategist, plus a full team of creatives across our development, design, copy, sales, and logistics departments.
The Social Media Strategist at M&R Marketing is an expert in social media platforms and responsible for the implementation and performance of our social media accounts. This includes providing social media service recommendations, advertising strategies, implementation, detailed reporting, and analysis of our social media services.
Relevant Experience
The ideal candidate should possess the following experience:
- 2+ years professional experience with: organic and paid social media management (multiple clients at once); candid photography; reel creation.
- Deep knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, X, TikTok, and other social platforms
- Working knowledge of social media planning and scheduling tools
- Working knowledge of Adobe Express is preferred
- Overall ability to perform the responsibilities below at a high, professional level
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute platform-specific organic and paid strategies for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, and others
- Maintain deep knowledge of client briefs, business goals, and brand voice so that content resonates with their target audiences
- Utilize a social media planning tool to create and manage content calendars, ensuring timely and consistent brand messaging
- Collaborate with clients to produce engaging organic page content (posts, reels, stories, etc.)
- Travel onsite to client location to capture photo and video content for use across organic and paid social campaigns
- Utilize Adobe Express for organic graphic post content creation that is optimized for each platform’s best practices
- Plan, launch, and optimize paid social campaigns to meet outlined performance goals
- Manage ad budgets across platforms, monitoring spend and ROI
- Conduct A/B testing on creatives, copy, and audience targeting
- Track and report on KPIs including reach, engagement, traffic, conversions, and cost per acquisition
- Use data analysis to refine strategies and recommend improvements
- Monitor brand presence across all channels, engaging with followers and responding to inquiries
- Identify opportunities for influencer and/or partnership collaborations to grow client’s social media presence and credibility
- Maintain up-to-date certifications and remain current on industry trends, algorithm changes, and platform updates
